A Helping Hand When Needed
Assisted Living
Support in the apartments at Waterford Crossing is not “one size fits all”. Support plans are available with minimal assistance to maximum assistance, depending on the assessed need. There is also flexibility to move from level to level as needs change. Should your needs change, you do not change apartments, we just bring the added services to you or if your needs decrease, we provide less support but your new home stays the same.
Waterford Crossing is the only Licensed Residential Care in Goshen. By being licensed, it provides opportunity to assist with more support and perhaps delay or eliminate the need to be in a nursing home. Licensed Care is often covered by Long Term Care Insurance or the Veteran’s Aid and Attendant Program.
If you determine you want to live in one of the apartments, you will be asked to have a physical exam, a TB test, a chest X-ray, and there will be some other papers we will ask you to complete. The nurse and Personal Support Supervisor will visit with you in your home prior to moving to your new apartment.
Out patient therapy is also available to keep you active and mobile. This service is generally covered by Medicare Part B.
There are four levels of support and these levels are described for you if you click on the list located on the Menu on the left hand side.
